JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a specialist nurse with us, you work together with your colleagues for the user's benefit and are an important part of their daily life. Home care provides nursing care and service interventions based on support decisions. We also work on behalf of health and medical services, where nurses delegate work tasks in the form of medication administration, insulin administration, and other delegated health and medical care tasks such as catheter flushing and oxygen management. Our operations also perform delegated tasks from physiotherapists in the form of training programs. Users have different needs for support and assistance, which means you'll get variety in your work. You will be an important part of the operations where, within your specialist area, you support and guide colleagues in daily work. For example, you may support colleagues regarding nursing care, communication, documentation management, approaches, and implementation plans. The role of specialist nurse is relatively new in our organization. You will therefore have the opportunity, together with your manager and other specialist nurses, to shape the role, and you will also be an important part of home care's future development work. Working hours are day/evening shifts and approximately every other weekend. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a trained specialist nurse with proof of protected professional title as a nurse and who has previous work experience in healthcare. Since documentation is an important part of the specialist nurse role, good computer skills are required. Experience in supervising individuals and groups is a merit. ABOUT THE WORKPLACE In home care, you will help and support the municipality's residents who still live in their own homes but need support and assistance to have a functioning daily life.
