Job Duties As a specialist nursing assistant with a focus on dementia, you have a central role in the operation. In addition to customary nursing assistant tasks, you are responsible for specific in-depth, resource and ombudsman assignments within the dementia field. With your specialist expertise, you initiate and lead quality and operational improvements in the dementia field. You lead and contribute to the development of person-centered care and family support, and contribute to development work within your specialist field. You function as a knowledge resource and support colleagues in the dementia field, including in social documentation and the preparation of implementation plans. You are also a supervisor and mentor for colleagues and students. In this role, you collaborate with the work team, licensed personnel and other cooperation partners, and actively participate in current networks. You are also a support to the responsible manager in development within the dementia field. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: Nursing assistant education with proof of protected professional title Diploma from post-secondary education comprising at least 200 YH points or at least 60 credits. The education must have a clear focus on dementia or another specialist focus relevant to working with people with dementia disease 5 years of work experience in healthcare, nursing or social care Documented experience in one or more specialist areas within healthcare, nursing or social care Experience using the computer as a work tool and resource, and have the willingness and ability to quickly learn new programs and systems Good Swedish in speech and writing Can ride a bike Meritorious: Supervisor training (minimum VO-college level 2 or equivalent) To fit the role of specialist nursing assistant, you need to be culturally aware and value diversity.
