Here about 900 employees work around the clock for our target groups. 1 position(s). Job Responsibilities As a specialist nursing assistant you work with standard nursing assistant duties. However, you should not be a contact person. The role as specialist nursing assistant means you also do not take on ombudsman roles that are not directly connected to your specialist competence. As a specialist nursing assistant you have special responsibility based on the needs of the activity. Your assignment involves initiating, driving and implementing quality and operational improvements to ensure a high standard within the activity. You also play an important role in supporting and coaching your colleagues and developing working methods in care and welfare work. Beyond this you are expected to support the unit manager in developing the activity based on the unit's specific needs. You function as a support function within your area of specialization. Your work should be characterized by a preventive and rehabilitative approach to promote users' health and well-being. Another important part of your role is to support and introduce new employees and colleagues in the workplace. You may also have assignments as a supervisor or main supervisor for APL (workplace-based learning) and LIA (learning in work), as well as serving as a mentor for others. Moreover you are expected to contribute to ensuring that the activity's resources are used efficiently and in the best possible way. Collaboration both internally within the unit and externally with other actors is also an important part of your responsibility as a specialist nursing assistant. As a specialist nursing assistant you work closely with the Unit Manager to ensure that the care and welfare provided within the unit is of good quality. You have close collaboration with the responsible nurse, occupational therapist and physiotherapist. You are expected to be a good role model and ambassador for the activity, welfare technology and work with person-centered care as well as the activity's other current working methods and approaches, such as IBIC and BPSD etc. Qualifications To be eligible for the position you need to be a trained nursing assistant with a post-secondary education in the form of vocational university education of at least 200 credits or university education of at least 60 credits. The education should have a clear focus on elderly health, dementia, palliative care or welfare technology, with a focus on care and welfare. It is also a requirement that you have sufficient knowledge of Swedish to be able to communicate with users and maintain documentation correctly. Basic computer skills are necessary, as well as the ability to work according to IBIC, BPSD and other relevant methods. We would like to see that you have experience in supervision and mentorship. We would like to see that you have experience in activity development within care and welfare. Previous work with people who have dementia or mental health issues is also an advantage. Additionally, knowledge of social documentation and quality follow-up is a merit for the position. To succeed in the role you need to be flexible and have an easy time adapting to changed situations. You readily take your own initiatives and work purposefully to achieve results. Your ability to be service-oriented and meet others with calmness and professionalism is important. We are looking for someone who is a good team player, has an easy time collaborating and can handle conflicts in a constructive way. You need to be self-driven and able to take responsibility for your work tasks by planning and driving your processes forward on your own. We would like to see that you have pedagogical insight and can adapt your way of conveying information based on the recipient's needs and conditions. To be able to drive the municipality's cars and bicycles in service, a B driving license and good bicycle skills are required.
