Specialist Nurses for PPE1 Pre- and Post-operative Department OO/OK
Make a difference. Every day. We are seeking specialist-trained nurses with qualifications in intensive care, anesthesia, or surgery who are interested in developing post-operative care. Your base placement will be at PPE1; the Pre- and Post-operative Department for Surgery and Orthopedics at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) in Malmö. Our pre- and post-operative unit is part of the Department of Intensive and Perioperative Care (VO IPV). We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but are part of an ongoing merger where you will have the opportunity to rotate between several pre- and post-operative units, including reconstructive surgery and gynecology—perfect if you want to broaden your expertise and try something new without changing employers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES At our unit, we work to provide patients with the best possible care before and especially after surgery. As a nurse at the pre- and post-operative department, you will work with patients, both adults and children, in many different specialties. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a specialist nurse in intensive care, anesthesia, or surgery, with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. You have experience working in somatic care and Swedish language skills at a minimum of C1 level according to the Council of Europe scale. You are engaged, confident in your professional role, and want to work in a dynamic environment. Additionally, you collaborate easily and have good ability to prioritize in acute situations. We expect that you, like us, are driven by the desire and interest to develop post-operative care. Furthermore, you are motivated to actively participate in the continuous improvement process we are engaged in. We place great importance on personal suitability. Salary by agreement, in the range of approximately 37,000 to 53,000 kr/month depending on experience and qualifications.
