Specialist Nurses for PPE1 Pre- and Postoperative Department OO/OK

Your base placement will be at PPE1; Pre- and Postoperative Department for Surgery and Orthopedics at Skåne University Hospital (Sus) in Malmö. Our pre- and postoperative unit is part of the Department of Intensive and Perioperative Care (VO IPV). We are open 24/7, every day of the week, but are part of an ongoing merger where you will have the opportunity to rotate between several pre- and postoperative units, including reconstructive surgery and gynecology – perfect for you if you want to broaden your competence and try something new without changing employers. DUTIES In our unit, we work to provide patients with the best possible care before and especially after surgery. As a nurse in the pre- and postoperative department, you will come into contact with patients, both adults and children, in many different specialties. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a specialist nurse in intensive care, anesthesia, or surgery, with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. You have experience working in somatic care, and Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. You are engaged, confident in your professional role, and want to work in a dynamic environment. In addition, you collaborate easily and have good ability to prioritize in acute situations. We assume that you, like us, are driven by the desire and interest to develop postoperative care. Additionally, you are motivated to actively participate in the continuous improvement process we are engaged in. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. An extract from the burden and suspicion register will be obtained before any employment. Salary by agreement, in the range of approximately 37,000 to 53,000 kr/month depending on experience and competence.
