At the General Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic in Gävle, psychologists, nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, social workers, physicians, and medical secretaries work together. The clinic provides specialist-level services for psychiatric conditions such as affective disorders, personality disorders, and anxiety disorders. We work in multiprofessional teams because we know that care improves when we work together. We also collaborate with our 24-hour inpatient care and on-call services. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a nurse with us, you will work independently, broadly, and with a variety of tasks. You will be part of a small team with nursing colleagues and physicians. In collaboration with colleagues and in consultation with patients, you assess each patient's individual need for support, care, and treatment. Treatment methods are evidence-based, and you follow patients during medication initiation and throughout treatment. As part of your role, you may together with colleagues conduct valued information sessions for groups of patients, called psychoeducational intervention (PPI), which the clinic offers specifically to bipolar patients. As a nurse with us, you will work with, among other things: • Monitoring of medication initiation with some dose adjustment • Motivational conversations and suicide prevention conversations • Telephone advice via Min Vård Gävleborg • Group activities and psychoeducation for patients • Collaboration with other professions at the clinic and cooperation with other public services.
