Right now, one of the most ambitious transformation projects in our municipality's history is underway. We're building a new city, approximately 20 minutes from central Stockholm. Join us on our journey. Do you want to be part of our development journey to become an accessible, visible, and knowledge-based social service with a preventive approach? At our social administration, you'll contribute to future-proofing social services. We work based on our target groups' needs within individual and family care and disability services, so that residents of Haninge can live independent lives. We focus on results and what creates value for those we serve. Welcome to us! Welcome to develop with us We are part of the social administration that is now preparing to create the social services of the future. Since January 1, 2024, we have a target-group-adapted organization that supports a process-based working method. The administration's core operations are divided into two operational areas: individual and family care, and disability services. The disability services area is divided into three areas: Function Support Prevention and Authority, Housing and Health Care, and Employment, Home Support and Support for Children. The disability services' comprehensive responsibility for both authority functions and service provision provides good collaboration benefits, shorter and simpler decision-making processes, and the ability to easily adapt to target group needs. Do you want to work in a dynamic and creative environment where teamwork is in focus? The Housing and Health Care area is responsible for operating 23 LSS residences in municipal management as well as health and medical care services within the social services' area of responsibility. The Support and Health team has medical responsibility for special residences and daily activities under LSS, as well as special residences within Social Psychiatry. The team consists of a service manager, nurses, occupational therapists, and a physiotherapist, and we are now seeking a skilled colleague with specialist education in psychiatry and LSS for our team. Do you want to join our journey and take our operations to the next level? Your assignment The assignment involves you being responsible for health and medical care services at LSS residences, daily activities, and social psychiatry residences. Work tasks can include, for example, assessing health status, taking samples, giving injections, performing wound care, prescribing continence aids, inserting catheters, or being responsible for medications. The work also includes supervision and training of care staff in health and medical care matters. As a person, you are responsible, self-driven, and can adapt your working methods to the situation. You have a commitment to work with the target group and understand the importance of creating and maintaining good relationships with patients, relatives, and colleagues. You actively contribute to quality development within your area and collaborate with both care providers in the region and other collaboration partners. We are currently undergoing a journey toward increased digitalization, so we see that you need digital competence and an interest in implementing new solutions. Over the coming years, we will also be building a crisis team for proactive work according to the new Social Services Act. Working hours: Weekdays between 8–17 (40h/week) This is what we're looking for in you: You are a licensed nurse and a specialist nurse with a focus on psychiatry with several years of professional experience You have knowledge and experience of the LSS target group and education in NPF (psychosis, EPIS, comorbidity, and suicide/self-harm behavior) You have experience working with cognitive aids You enjoy working in a team and are positive about change and development work You have very good communication skills, both in meetings with people and in writing You are proactive, flexible, and see opportunities rather than obstacles You have an empathetic and unbiased perspective You hold a B driver's license and feel comfortable driving a car for work purposes It is meritorious if you have: Experience working with people with functional variations and/or psychiatric diagnoses in outpatient care Experience with people with psychiatric issues and comorbidity in inpatient care Knowledge of aging in relation to diagnoses within LSS and comorbidity Experience working with aids or support regarding diet and activities We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
