Our Operations In the Surgical and Urology Operations area, we provide patients with advanced surgical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Surgical Operations area consists of three surgical wards and one urology ward, five outpatient clinics, and a day care unit that provides care to patients in the following medical areas: vascular surgery, colorectal surgery, endocrine surgery, acute surgery, urology, esophageal/gastric surgery, liver/biliary/pancreatic surgery, and transplant surgery. We, as nurses, nursing assistants, and surgeons, work patient-centered in teams together with the patient. Your Assignment We are looking for you to work as a Specialist Nurse with Section Responsibility (SAS) for our medical sections. You have advanced knowledge in nursing care and specialized expertise in one or more diagnostic groups, and you follow knowledge development nationally and internationally. You have a strong ability to represent the patient's nursing care needs in multiprofessional forums as the section-responsible nurse collaborates with the section chief in your medical section. Together with the nursing manager and research leader in Academic Leadership in Nursing, you are part of the Nursing Council and work to ensure that nursing care in your section is evidence-based. As the section-responsible nurse, you evaluate nursing care, monitor quality indicators, and collaborate with patient representatives. The assignment includes serving as an instructor internally and externally in specialist nurse programs. We are now seeking: • Section-responsible nurse with a focus on the endocrine surgery section on ward 70D Your Qualifications You are a specialist nurse in surgical care and hold at least a master's degree in nursing science/nursing care or another relevant field. You have specialized expertise in one or more diagnostic groups. You have experience and a strong ability to lead and develop surgical nursing according to evidence and implement results in clinical practice. As a person, you are goal- and results-oriented, accustomed to working independently and taking own initiatives, structured, quality-conscious, problem-solving, you have good analytical skills and collaboration skills. We Offer We offer a permanent position at 100% as a specialist nurse with a fixed-term appointment for 3 years as a section-responsible nurse at 20%. If you already have an employment as a specialist nurse in the operations area, it will be supplemented with a fixed-term appointment for 3 years as a section-responsible nurse.
