Jēkabpils Municipality Education Department (registration number 40900025374) announces a competition for the position of Child Rights Protection Specialist at Jēkabpils Municipality Education Department (permanent position). Job Responsibilities: 1. Provide methodological, consultative support and recommendations to all specialists involved in child rights protection. 2. Organize and lead the work of the municipality's child rights protection cooperation group in accordance with the regulations of Jēkabpils Municipality's cooperation group in the field of child rights protection. 3. Organize and lead the development, updating, and monitoring of the municipality's child rights protection programs. 4. Ensure timely and high-quality information exchange between all institutions and specialists involved in child rights protection. 5. Develop cooperation algorithms with education, law, social, and health sector specialists for prevention and conflict and violence case resolution. Organize and ensure regular situation assessment in the field of child rights protection in the municipality. 6. Build mutual understanding of the responsibilities of institutions and specialists working in the field of child rights protection. 7. Provide support in cases where individual cases are considered related to possible violations of a child's rights, when rapid action and cooperation from multiple institutions is needed. Requirements for Candidates: 1. First or second cycle higher education in law, social sciences, or pedagogy. 2. Preferred work experience in the field of child rights protection. 3. State language proficiency at the highest level in accordance with the State Language Law requirements and proficiency in one official EU language to the extent necessary for professional activities. 4. Excellent communication, cooperation, and presentation skills. 5. Good information technology skills. 6. Good analytical abilities, accuracy, and a high sense of responsibility. We Offer: 1.
