We provide qualified acute care services around the clock. The Medical Clinic in Ljungby consists of approximately 150 employees from various professions. We offer medical outpatient services with clinical physiology, bone density measurements (for all of Kronoberg County), and a dialysis unit. Inpatient care includes a ward divided into two sections—one focusing on stroke/neurology and internal medicine, while the other focuses on cardiology and internal medicine. An acute care unit and an IMA with three beds are also planned to open in the fall. The emergency department is open 24/7. At the Medical Clinic, there is a good collaborative climate. DUTIES The hematology section is a well-functioning unit where you, together with a senior physician, will have primary responsibility for medical day care and the hematology outpatient clinic. We manage most hematological diseases but work closely with the hematology clinic in Växjö and Lund for cases such as acute leukemias and stem cell transplantations. We welcome your contribution to the clinic's on-call services, with scope and scheduling adapted to your circumstances. Additional specialization in internal medicine is meriting. As a person, you are structured, responsible, and communicative. You enjoy working in teams, collaborate easily, and bring attentiveness and confidence in interactions with both patients and colleagues.
