Description We are looking for you to join us at the clinic and develop and lead the best care for patients with bipolar disorder type 1. The clinic is an outpatient clinic for assessment and treatment of patients with primarily bipolar disorder. The clinic is located at St. Eriksplan and is part of the City section within North Stockholm Psychiatry. We are a clinic with approximately 25 employees. Physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists and medical secretaries work here. We strive for a workplace with short decision-making paths, a pleasant atmosphere and stable continuity across all professional groups. We place great value on physician meetings such as ward rounds, diagnostic conferences and we keep medical issues in focus. We view management and administration as a means, not an end. All patients are assigned a responsible physician and nurse and we work together in two multiprofessional teams. As a physician, you handle diagnostics and lead and distribute the work around the patient in the team. We work closely with one of our inpatient wards at St. Görans Hospital to ensure quality and continuity in the care chain when any of our patients require inpatient care. A mobile emergency team is available to assist patients during on-call hours. Duties We are looking for you as a specialist physician who wants to work with clinical patient care, clinical supervision and possible teaching to colleagues, staff and students. Working shorter periods at the clinic's inpatient ward where our patients are cared for may become relevant. We are committed to offering high availability and a well-functioning care chain, where outpatient and 24-hour care work closely together. We also see patient participation and collaboration with relatives and care neighbors as very important. We offer assessment and treatment based on national guidelines and regional care programs. Qualifications Licensed physician, specialist in psychiatry. Particular interest in affective disorders, supervision and teaching are merits. You are engaged, have good collaboration skills and can contribute with problem-solving, creativity and flexibility. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Terms Permanent, full-time. Start date by agreement, preferably immediately. We offer you: Competency development, wellness hour and wellness allowance, flexible hours and free healthcare in outpatient care. Information about the position is provided by Unit Manager, Johannes Jönsson, [email protected], 072-7249679 Welcome with your application! The position is filled subject to it not needing to be used for internal reallocation, according to applicable regulations.
