WHAT Unilabs performs laboratory diagnostics and analyzes samples from both primary and specialized care throughout the Stockholm region, Sörmland, and Western Götaland, as well as from other parts of the country. We are currently seeking a specialist physician in clinical microbiology. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to high-quality diagnostics, create efficient work processes, and provide excellent customer service. You will work broadly across different areas and with various methods within clinical microbiology while also deepening your expertise in diverse clinical questions. Unique to Unilabs is our cross-regional approach where we utilize our resources and expertise in the best possible way and support each other, our customers, and patients both on-site and remotely. As a specialist physician, you will be part of a regional team where different professions work together, and also part of a cross-regional physician group consisting of 8 physicians and resident physicians. Areas of responsibility are divided within the physician group based on knowledge, interests, and operations. This approach ensures you receive comprehensive support from different areas of expertise even at a distance, and you share your knowledge with others – colleagues, coworkers, or customers – in a pedagogical manner. You also have an interest in developing as a specialist physician and enjoy the medical consultant role and customer interaction. You are communicative with excellent collaboration skills both internally and externally. Furthermore, you are responsive and open to new thinking and passionate about working with continuous improvements that contribute positively to patients, our customers, and our own operations.
