The unit also provides highly specialized care for children with heart disease and children undergoing surgical procedures. WORK RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking two Specialist Physicians in Pediatric Anesthesia in Lund! Your primary responsibilities with us include anesthesia and intensive care for children of all ages. You will work with acute assessments and care of critically ill patients. You will also participate in supervising resident physicians and in the development of the unit. Duties are primarily based in Lund and include on-call service. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed physician with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. You also have specialist competence in anesthesia and intensive care. Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. You must have completed or plan to complete a course in clinical supervision. Experience in pediatric anesthesia and pediatric intensive care as well as completed training in SSAI's program for pediatric anesthesia and pediatric intensive care are advantageous. At a university hospital unit, physicians are required to have pedagogical experience and education. This can be acquired through supervising nursing and medical students as well as physicians in training, and as a co-supervisor or primary supervisor of doctoral candidates. Clearly describe in your application any completed or planned pedagogical courses, experience in supervision and teaching at different levels.
