At the regional pediatrics and adolescent medicine operation, approximately 165 people are employed. The regional operation consists of both inpatient care, outpatient clinics, day care services, play therapy, and SSIH Children. On our wards, all children and adolescents under 18 years of age who need inpatient care are treated. Our clinics receive children and adolescents up to 18 years old with medical conditions; we conduct approximately 18,000 physician visits, 7,500 nurse visits, and 3,500 dietitian visits per year across the regional operation. The physician group at the Children's Clinic in Sundsvall consists of 20 physicians. We are now seeking a specialist physician for our team! The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date by agreement. Job Responsibilities With us, you will have varied work where patients are children of different ages with varying diagnoses. Here you work together with many competent colleagues who are willing to share and contribute valuable knowledge for your continued medical career. As a specialist physician with us, you will work in both planned and acute operations. You will work alternately on our two inpatient wards for neonatology and general pediatrics and at our outpatient clinics. You are expected to actively participate in teamwork in one of our diagnosis-related teams where you will have the opportunity to develop and deepen your knowledge. On-call duty at night and on weekends is part of your responsibilities. Qualifications We are seeking you who: Are a specialist physician in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine Have completed supervisor training for physicians Have completed your specialist training in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine Have good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written Have a B driving license It is meritorious if you: Have good knowledge of English, spoken and written To succeed in this role, we believe you have these personal qualities: Collaboration skills Independence Personal maturity Structured approach The following documentation must be attached to your application according to the procedures for expert review in the employment of specialist-trained physicians at academic healthcare units and university healthcare units: Scientific Merits (if applicable) Certificate of academic degree, for example, Doctor of Medicine or Associate Professor Complete publication list Pedagogical Merits (if applicable) Certificate/documentation of teaching experience Certificate of supervisor training course (basic or specialist training) Clinical and Other Merits (if applicable) Certificate of sub-specialization Certificate/documentation of management assignments and/or operations development Verification of physician license and all relevant specialist certificates via the National Board of Health and Welfare (HOSP) will be conducted when the application is received.
