We are now recruiting experienced specialist physicians in psychiatry for a well-established and specialized psychiatric clinic in southwestern Sweden. Whether you have a broad general psychiatry background or a specific subspecialization, this position offers a stimulating environment where you can develop your expertise and contribute to high-quality care.
About the Clinic:
The adult psychiatric clinic offers a broad spectrum of psychiatric care, including inpatient services, a 24-hour emergency clinic, and outpatient general psychiatry. Inpatient care consists of four general psychiatric wards plus additional beds in forensic psychiatry with associated outpatient services. The clinic also operates specialized units, including:
First-Episode Psychosis (FEP)
Digital ADHD Clinic
Older Adults Psychiatry
Medication-Assisted Treatment for Opioid Dependence (LARO)
Transdiagnostic Eating Disorder Care
Neuromodulation Treatments, including brain stimulation unit
The clinic treats patients with all psychiatric diagnoses, making it a dynamic and developing workplace for both generalists and specialists.
Your Role:
As a specialist physician in psychiatry, you will be part of a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality psychiatric care. Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, nurses, and other professionals.
Supervision of resident physicians and ongoing education of colleagues.
Participation in developing the clinic's treatment methods and care processes.
Requirements:
Swedish specialist certification in psychiatry.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience in general psychiatry is required. Subspecialization is a plus but not required.
