We are now seeking a specialist psychiatrist for an hourly position at Psychiatry Northwest, placed at Sollentuna Psychiatric Clinic. Sollentuna Psychiatric Clinic serves all individuals over 18 years old, registered residents of Stockholm Region who require psychiatric care at the specialist level. Collegiality, knowledge sharing, and an open climate are things we place great importance on. At the clinic, we are organized into two base teams and one neuropsychiatric evaluation team. We provide treatment for patients with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality syndromes, and neuropsychiatric functional impairments. We place great emphasis on assessment/diagnosis and evidence-based treatment, offering a broad range of therapeutic options. Our teams consist of nurses, psychologists, a social worker, a rehabilitation coordinator, and specialist psychiatrists. The teams meet in brief team meetings several times a week to collaborate on patient care and treatment plans. There are established work methods and routines while also providing good opportunities to influence how we work at the clinic. We are now seeking you to be part of our team in the role of attending physician. Job Responsibilities As a specialist psychiatrist, you are responsible for psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of our patients. Furthermore, there is an expectation that you share your professional expertise in team collaboration with other professional categories. Qualifications Specialist psychiatrist in psychiatry with clinical experience in general psychiatric outpatient care. We see that as an applicant you are flexible in how you prioritize, plan, and carry out your tasks and can quickly adapt to changing circumstances. You have a developed ability to meet people with varying mental health conditions. You enjoy working independently and structuring your workday. You are willing to share your professional expertise with other professional categories. We require competent clinical judgment, a professional approach, and the ability to collaborate. Personal suitability is weighted heavily. Terms The employment is an hourly position with daytime hours Monday–Friday, based on the facility's needs and by agreement.
