Make a difference. Every day. We are now seeking a specialist in general medicine for team orange as one of our colleagues is retiring. Our health center is a medium-sized, pleasant, and well-functioning health care unit with sound finances. We are a training and development-oriented health center with general practice specialists, ST physicians (senior residents), and AT physicians (junior residents). Here we value knowledge exchange, mentoring, and collegial learning, and we have approximately 10,400 registered patients. We strive toward the benchmark of 1,100 registered patients per full-time physician to create good conditions for quality, work environment, and long-term patient relationships. We strive to work cross-professionally in teams and place great emphasis on preventive work. In total, we are approximately 45 dedicated employees who are now looking forward to welcoming a new colleague as we want to expand our services for our patients! Team orange will welcome you with open arms. The team includes a nurse, district nurse, ST physician, AT physician, physiotherapist, social worker, nursing assistant, and secretary who all work together with patients. You will work closely with the team nurse in your team. 1 position(s). DUTIES Your duties as a general practice specialist include scheduled patient consultations, acute patients, administration, and participation in the development of the department. Your duties may also include work at care facilities, child health centers (family center Guldkornet), and at the weekend clinic in Landskrona. We actively strive for continuity where all physicians have their own defined patient list. We will try to adjust your tasks in consultation with you to make your workday as optimal, varied, challenging, and interesting as possible. It is important to us that you have opportunities for further education and support from both your team and fellow physicians, so you have a good work environment. As an experienced general practice specialist, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to mentoring and competence development of our AT and ST physicians and other colleagues. We offer flexible working hours and the possibility of working remotely for administrative tasks. We are responsive to individual preferences regarding schedule and working methods and strive to create a sustainable work environment for you. In 2021, we began a new way of working inspired by the Alaska model where we divided all staff into four cross-professional teams. We call our working method the Svalöv model. Within these teams, staff care for their patients and can, if needed, conduct team visits with different professional categories present. We have rounds twice a week and the possibility of providing a direct number for each team to increase continuity when patients contact the health center. In addition, we have time slots three days a week set aside for patient matters. QUALIFICATIONS We now welcome an engaged, knowledgeable, and positive physician with a genuine interest in general medicine. As formal requirements, you are a licensed physician with authorization to practice within Swedish health care and have specialist competence in general medicine. You have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. We would like to see that you have previous experience working in primary care. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities such as collaboration skills and responsibility, as cross-professional collaboration is essential.
