JOB DUTIES As a specialist physician, you will have both scheduled consultations for chronic patients and participate in our acute team where we daily meet patients with acute primary care issues, as well as have the opportunity to schedule your own consultations. We have established interprofessional teams to further strengthen continuity for our patients. Currently, there is also the opportunity to work at the child health center (BVC), which is part of our Family Center Paletten, and to collaborate on minor gynecological issues with midwives at the Midwifery Clinic. Every day during morning coffee, there is scheduled time for discussion of patient cases, guidelines, and management of complex cases, which is appreciated equally by training physicians and our general medicine specialists. We are aware that the workload in primary care is sometimes high, and we actively work with scheduling and patient roster assignments for permanent physicians to achieve a reasonable work situation where physicians can leave on time. The health center has undergone a very positive trend in recent years, which allows us to offer you varied and developmental work in a pleasant work environment with specialist nurses/district nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, social workers, dietitians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and administrative expertise all represented under one roof. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare and who have specialist competence in general medicine. Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are a requirement. Previous experience working at a health center is a great advantage for this position, as is experience with the PMO medical record system. We want you to be a communicative person who values good interactions with patients, relatives, and colleagues. You have good collaboration skills while enjoying working independently and feel confident in your professional role. Working with people also requires high demands for flexibility, responsibility, and being solution-focused. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
