We are located in central Höör and it is easy to reach us by public transportation, just about a ten-minute walk from the station. The health center has approximately 9,700 registered patients. You will join an inclusive workplace where all staff collaborate across boundaries and support each other. Here you will have varied tasks and the opportunity to influence your work. In addition to our regular clinic, we also have urgent care and home healthcare services. In addition to our physician clinic, we have clinics with nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapist, dietitian, psychologist and psychiatric nurse, as well as specialist clinics in diabetes, elderly care and asthma/COPD. Our laboratory assistants work with blood draws and have their own clinic. We also have a rehabilitation coordinator who supports physicians in sick leave matters. We follow the National Board of Health and Welfare's recommendation of 1100 residents per physician. WORK TASKS As a physician you will work with both scheduled and acute clinic visits and have responsibility for your own patient list. You also have administrative tasks and administration time balanced with clinic time and work level. There is an opportunity to, in addition to regular tasks, take responsibility for a specific medical area such as dementia or hypertension. This brings in-depth knowledge within the field, the opportunity to participate in further education, and productive collaboration with other staff who are specialists in the subject. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a licensed physician with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare and who has specialist competence in general medicine. Additionally, Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement.
