Our Offer Anopiva is the largest clinic in Region Östergötland and at University Hospital in Linköping. The clinic is organized into three sections: the intensive care unit, operations, and the sterilization technical unit. Operations consist of 24 operating rooms plus anesthesia services outside the central operating suite. Surgical operations are undergoing ongoing organizational changes to enable increased surgical capacity at University Hospital with robustness, predictability, and reliability, while strengthening care quality, patient safety, and work environment. We are over 500 employees committed to developing care with the goal of delivering high-quality anesthesia and surgical services as well as intensive care for citizens in Östergötland and the Southeast Health Care Region, with patient safety and quality in focus. We are part of nationally specialized care in collaboration with certain hospital clinics. Research and education are integral to our work, as is developing our care processes. The intensive care unit section includes departments for intensive care (CIVA), postoperative care (Postop), and intermediate care (CIMA). Job Description With us, you will work with anesthesia, postoperative care, intermediate care, and intensive care for both adult and pediatric patients. Anesthesia services include complex upper and lower abdominal surgery, urological and gynecological surgery, orthopedics and spinal surgery, hand and plastic surgery, ophthalmology, maxillofacial and otolaryngology surgery, as well as neurosurgery. We have a broad range of activities with anesthesia outside the operating room as well as a pediatric surgery unit including a pediatric procedure unit. We are a European-accredited center in regional anesthesia. In intensive care, we care for critically ill patients requiring general and multidisciplinary intensive care as well as burn care and neurointensive care. Our clinic has both regional responsibilities and, in certain specialized areas, national responsibilities. Evening and night on-call shifts are part of the position. Education and research are integral parts of our operations. About You We are looking for a specialist or senior physician in anesthesia and intensive care who wants to continue developing yourself and driving our development in collaboration with the clinic's staff and our partner clinics. You are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness and the ability to adapt your working style to circumstances. You have good organizational, structuring, and collaboration skills. You have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. You communicate well and demonstrate good judgment toward patients, families, and colleagues, with high medical expertise. You advance medical work and can be a knowledge resource for others. Experience in research and education is advantageous. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.
