We see great value in collaboration with other actors in society. Primary Care Area East is a base unit with two health centers, Ålidhem and Holmsund. Ålidhem Health Center is located on Tvistevägen, near Ålidhem Center in Umeå. The health center has approximately 23,000 registered patients and we are about 100 employees who make this possible. We are now seeking a new colleague for our physician team at Ålidhem Health Center. We are a large physician group with high and varied expertise in general medicine. We have the strength and advantages of being a large health center while maintaining close and unpretentious relationships among those who work here. JOB DUTIES As a specialist physician with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure. The work is characterized by encounters with people of all ages with all types of health-related problems. In specialist general medicine work, you will follow an individual's various health issues over time and in assessment consider the person's entire life situation. As a specialist, you are expected to support physicians in training in their ongoing work and supervise during designated supervision time. You are also expected to be an active part of the physician group's and health center's meetings, dialogues, and improvement initiatives. On-call services in primary care emergency duty and primary care backup duty are part of the work. QUALIFICATIONS For this position, you need to be a specialist physician in general medicine, or alternatively in the final stage of your ST training in general medicine. Interest in supervising students and training physicians is important. You are a present and positive person who with knowledge and care sees the patient and can adapt care according to existing needs. You enjoy collaborating and being there for other people, both patients and colleagues. You function well in the working methods required in primary care and can manage your workday according to the responsibilities expected of a specialist physician. You see opportunities and can manage your workday even when patient volume is high by independently making decisions in the matters you face. We require good knowledge of the Swedish language.
