About Us Närhälsan Götene health center is one of Västra Götaland Region's publicly operated health centers with approximately 10,000 registered residents. Here you will meet an engaged work team of around 40 employees. We work together and value collaboration between professions. The health center has physician and nurse clinics, district nurse clinic, diabetes clinic, hypertension clinic, asthma/COPD clinic, geriatric clinic, child health center (BVC), laboratory, and mental health clinic. We have close collaboration with Götene rehabilitation clinic, the midwifery clinic, and the youth clinic. You will work with clinic-based care in primary healthcare. You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. The role also includes supervision of ST and AT physicians as well as medical students; it is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities, for example through continuous training of ten days per year. About You You are a licensed physician and have specialist training in general medicine with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, at a minimum of C1 level according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement for the position. We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of the operations. In your work you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have good interpersonal skills. You enjoy teamwork and for you it is a matter of course to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
