About Us Närhälsan Älvängen healthcare center is a stable and well-functioning unit with competent and experienced staff. We have approximately 7,700 patients registered with us. We offer a broad range of services including urgent care, scheduled physician consultations, child health services (BVC), and several nurse clinics, including services for diabetes and asthma/COPD. The healthcare center also has a psychosocial team with a psychologist, CBT therapist, and rehabilitation coordinator. Our BVC is located in newly built facilities and is part of Älvbarnens family center in Älvängen. Älvängen is a pleasant and growing town with good transportation connections. You will work with clinic consultations and digital healthcare appointments in primary care. You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operation. The role also includes supervising trainee (ST) and junior (AT) physicians as well as medical students—training tomorrow's healthcare professionals is an important part of our mission. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities, including continuing education of ten days per year. About You You are a licensed physician with specialist training in general medicine and are authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form at a minimum level C1 according to the Council of Europe framework is required for this position. We are looking for someone who can work independently while also wanting to participate in the operation's development work. In this role, you meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have good interpersonal skills.
