Here, patients with affective disorders, anxiety disorders, various personality syndromes, and neuropsychiatric conditions are assessed and treated. The clinic is located in the psychiatric building on Baravägen where several different psychiatric specialty clinics and departments are housed. The clinic's catchment area includes the municipalities of Eslöv, Höör, and Hörby. The clinic is well-staffed, and the team includes several physicians, psychologists, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and medical secretaries. DUTIES We are now looking for a specialist physician or senior physician in psychiatry with an interest in working with evidence-based care in a multidisciplinary setting. As a physician at the clinic, you are responsible for patient care, perform diagnostics, initiate and evaluate pharmacological treatment, and collaborate with other healthcare providers and units regarding patient treatment and rehabilitation. A central part of the position involves psychiatric assessment work based on complex differential diagnostic questions as well as neuropsychiatry. We value education and see students and physicians in training as an important part of our future competence development. As a specialist physician/senior physician, you are therefore expected to provide supervision. Your employment also includes on-call duties. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed physician with the authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. In addition, you have specialist competence in psychiatry. Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. You must have completed or have a planned course in clinical supervision. For employment as a senior physician, you must also have: - full-time service of at least three years (documented effective time) - clinical competence and independence within your specialist area - a defined medical responsibility and knowledge area - documented teaching and supervision merits.
