On behalf of a hospital in northern Norway, we are now seeking a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for a permanent daytime position in a multidisciplinary team.
The Rehabilitation Unit offers a broad range of outpatient services and consists of a multidisciplinary team with specialist physicians, psychologists, neuropsychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and social workers. The team has high expertise in musculoskeletal medicine, exhaustion-related issues, and work-related health.
The operation is under continued development with plans to expand specialized rehabilitation services over the coming years. The hospital also participates in national research projects, particularly within work-related health and rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
Independent and team-based clinical work in musculoskeletal medicine, spasticity treatment, complex exhaustion-related conditions, and multidisciplinary assessments
Participation in outpatient programs such as interdisciplinary exhaustion clinics and mobile rehabilitation teams
Contribute to development of new services and working methods within rehabilitation
Opportunity to participate in clinical research
Collaboration with other departments and external partners
Qualifications
Medical license from a Scandinavian country
Specialist qualification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Experience in rehabilitation medicine within hospital care is meritable
Good ability to work both independently and in a team
Good knowledge of a Scandinavian language and motivation to work in Norway
