Special Educator - Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Specialist

Multifunctional Social Services Center "Vecružina" invites applications for Applied Behavior Analysis Specialist (ABA Specialist) for an indefinite period Key Responsibilities: Work as part of a social rehabilitation specialist team and apply applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodology when working with children ages 2-18 diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and physical development disorders. Analyze the child's behavioral problems and determine their developmental level, develop and implement a therapy plan tailored to the child's needs using ABA methods. Participate in the social rehabilitation specialist team's work and integrate ABA goals into the child's overall rehabilitation plan. Collaborate with other specialists involved in the social rehabilitation process and with children's legal representatives. Position Requirements: Training center certificate authorizing the initiation of ABA practice (completion of at least 187-hour program) or completion of a full behavior analyst training program. Knowledge of the state language in accordance with applicable regulations of the Republic of Latvia. Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional resilience, ability to respond flexibly to changes, ability to work in a team. Ability to make independent decisions and take responsibility for professional activities. Strong computer and office equipment skills. High sense of responsibility. Experience working with children.
