Aura Train & Rail is a new and specialized business area within Aura Personal, created to meet the growing needs of the train and rail industry for the right expertise – now and over time. Right now we are looking for a Rail Welder for placement in Stockholm! As a rail welder, you work in a team with maintenance and new construction of rails. The work is varied and is performed in the track environment, where safety, precision, and collaboration are essential. You are also involved in identifying, managing, and taking early action on deviations within your area of responsibility. Common work tasks: Joint welding and overlay welding Cutting and grinding Peg soldering and gas soldering Working hours will vary and since travel, on-call duty at home, and weekend and night work occur, it is important that you live in the nearby area to minimize travel to and from work sites. We are looking for you who have: Approved upper secondary education Approved basic training in rail welding (thermite and overlay welding). Experience with rail welding in railways Class B driver's license (manual) Meets medical requirements to be approved for security service Meritorious: Further education in rail welding Class C driver's license Since the position involves work in security-classified areas, a security clearance is always conducted before an employment offer is made.
