Aura Train & Rail is a new and specialized business area within Aura Personal, created to meet the growing needs of the train and rail industry for the right expertise – now and in the future. We are currently seeking a Track Welder based in Gothenburg!
As a track welder, you will work in a team with maintenance and new construction of rails. The work is varied and performed in track environments, where safety, precision, and collaboration are essential. You will also participate in identifying, managing, and promptly addressing deviations within your area of responsibility.
Common work tasks:
Joint welding and overlay welding
Cutting and grinding
Flux-core welding and gas welding
Working hours will vary, and since travel, on-call duty at home, as well as evening and night work occur, it is important that you live in the local area to minimize travel to and from work sites.
We are looking for someone who has:
Approved upper secondary education
Approved basic training in track welding (thermit and overlay welding)
Experience with track welding in railway
Category B driver's license (manual)
Meets medical requirements to be approved for security service
Meritorious:
Advanced training in track welding
Category C driver's license
Since the position involves work in security-classified areas, a security clearance is always conducted before an offer of employment is made.
