Right now we are looking for a Track Welder based in Gothenburg! As a track welder, you work in a team maintaining and constructing new rails. The work is varied and is carried out in a track environment, where safety, precision and cooperation are crucial. You also participate in identifying, managing and taking early action on deviations within your area of responsibility. Common work tasks: Joint welding and overlay welding Cutting and grinding Pin soldering and gas soldering Working hours will vary and since travel, on-call work at home as well as weekend and night work occur, it is important that you live in the local area in order to minimize travel to and from work sites. We are looking for you who have: Approved upper secondary school education Approved basic training in track welding (thermit and overlay welding). Experience in track welding within railways B driving license (manual) Meets medical requirements to be approved for security service Merits: Further training in track welding C driving license Since the position involves work in security-classified areas, a security check is always conducted before an employment offer is made.
