The Children and Education Department works on behalf of the Preschool Board and the Primary School Board. The department is responsible for preschool activities, school childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Our most important mission is to give all children and students in Huddinge the opportunity to develop to their full potential in a safe educational environment. All of our employees play an important role in this. 1 position(s). Balingsnäs School is a two-parallel F-9 school with an Adapted Primary School for grades 7-9. Approximately 600 students attend the school, and the staff consists of approximately 80 employees. Balingsnäs School is a modern and beautiful building located in a scenic residential area in central Huddinge. The school has a large gymnasium, practical aesthetic halls, and its own kitchen. Students at Balingsnäs School have access to iPads in preschool class, 1:1 Chromebooks in grades 1-9, and Smartboards in all classrooms. We are organized in grade-level work teams, called "home bases," where teachers in the team are responsible for and work together for all students in the grade. We have two "Studios" at the school, which are support facilities where students who need comprehensive support can receive instruction in a smaller setting for parts or all of the school day. The school's vision "A safe school where knowledge brings joy and success" guides the school in working toward a clear common goal. About the Position You will work as a Spanish teacher at 40%, which means you will teach students from grades 6-9. Planning, follow-up, and grading are a natural part of the role. Your working hours are scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This is a temporary position for one term with the possibility of extension at 20%. You will not have a mentorship role but will be part of a grade 6 work team and have weekly language conferences with other language teachers. About You You are a certified teacher for grades 4-9 in Spanish. You have the ability to see beyond students' limitations, and through preparation and prevention, you can help students succeed. You are well acquainted with LGR22 and have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish. You are flexible and have excellent collaboration skills, find it easy to build good relationships and cooperate with students, guardians, your work team, the school's student support team, and school leadership. In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader with the ability to create a work environment characterized by safety, trust, and respect. With good didactic skills, solid subject knowledge, clear structure, and varied instruction adapted to each individual student, you create the best conditions for our students to meet the knowledge requirements in LGR22. You see documentation and assessment of students' knowledge development as a natural part of your work. You have good analytical and reflective abilities and constantly develop your instruction.
