About Us Welcome to our emergency department, where we are a wonderful group of nursing assistants, nurses, and emergency physicians who together receive approximately 30,000 patients per year. Here you will encounter everything from minor scrapes to major challenges in medicine, surgery, and orthopedics. We work closely with physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, and physiotherapists. We also have pharmacists who support with medication management, administrators who handle admissions, and facility staff who ensure patients get where they need to go. Clinical Foundation Year For newly graduated nurses/radiologic technologists, a Clinical Foundation Year is included during your first year of permanent employment. The Clinical Foundation Year includes lectures, process-oriented nursing mentoring, and practical training in your profession at the Simulation Center. You will also work alongside staff in other departments to gain a broader understanding of the hospital where you work.
