Here is where you come in
As a Sourcing Manager, you have overall responsibility for procurement work at Bufab Sweden. You lead and develop our procurement organization which consists of Replenishment, RFQ and a team of Lead Buyers – and create conditions for us to work in a structured, professional and efficient manner throughout the entire procurement process.
You work both strategically and operatively – with everything from supplier strategy and cost overview to digitalization, sustainability, process development and daily collaboration with sales and other functions.
Your mission in brief
In the role you will:
Lead, coach and develop the procurement organization
Ensure competitive procurement – at the right cost, quality and delivery
Drive strategic procurement matters and develop the supplier base
Identify risks and opportunities early in the business
Drive digital transformation and automation in procurement with a focus on AI
Develop and improve procurement processes – with strengthened relationships and sustainable business
Ensure responsible and sustainable procurement through supplier monitoring and requirements related to quality, regulatory compliance and climate goals
Ensure close collaboration between procurement, sales, sustainability and other parts of the business
Who are you?
We believe that you are a leader with strong business understanding and experience in sourcing and procurement. You thrive in a role where you both set the direction forward and are close to the business in everyday work.
You have:
Your background in sourcing and supplier development
Experience leading, coaching and developing teams
Experience in negotiation, contracts and business relationships
Ability to drive change, development and digitalization
Understanding and interest in how procurement and sustainability impact business, profitability and customer value
You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

The position is full-time
Location: Värnamo (with some flexibility)
Your manager will be Bufab Sweden's Managing Director Daniel Johansson and you will be part of the management team for Bufab Sweden.
You will also be part of the Nordic & East Sourcing Team where you report to Sourcing Director BU Nordic & East, Maria Götesson.
Travel in connection with work occurs, including internationally
