The Welfare Administration's task is to help people who, due to age, disability, economic or family problems, need various forms of support and assistance. The Welfare Administration consists of three departments: care and elderly care, support services, and IFO (individual and family care). The care and elderly care department consists of units for nursing homes, home care, and municipal primary care. The support department includes LSS services. The IFO department consists of social services, employment unit, social psychiatry, and assistance unit. Do you want a meaningful job where you create great value for people? We are looking for you who want to help others this summer. We are now recruiting summer and temporary workers for home care in Munkedal, Dingle, and Hedekas. We are looking for you who can work during the later part of the summer and continue into the fall. You will become part of our competent, responsible, and caring work team, where we strive for strong community and good cooperation to promote a good work environment, health, and security for both our elderly and employees. Job Description Your work will involve daily care of our service users, which you will perform with high quality based on their individual needs and situations that arise. This responsible work involves great participation and daily observations, in close cooperation with your colleagues to carry out measures that contribute to their well-being. You will provide support to our service users in their daily lives regarding personal care and assistance, service tasks such as cleaning and errands, and contribute to a safe and meaningful everyday life. Communication is also a major part of your work, where you will meet service users and their family members in a considerate, trustworthy, and respectful manner. The work includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old and has a genuine interest in care work and working with people. has previous work experience in care and elderly care, preferably in home care. has a valid driver's license (category B). has good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written, to perform safe care with high quality and to meet the needs of our elderly and service users based on care plans and situations that arise. is a trained nursing assistant (desirable). has previous experience with medication delegation (desirable). Your personal suitability is of great importance to us. When meeting people in different life situations, we require that you are self-motivated, while also having good cooperation skills and contributing to a safe and respectful work environment. We also value that you are stable and service-oriented, as calm and professional conduct is crucial for providing good and safe care.
