We are looking for an analytical and resourceful Solution Design Engineer who wants to act as an expert and implementation support for our customers. In this role, you will combine your technical expertise in warehouse automation, WMS, and solution design with a strong business focus to exceed our customers' goals, improve efficiency, and strengthen their competitiveness. As a Solution Design Engineer, you will be based at our fine headquarters in Solna, with the opportunity to work regularly at our sites in Brunna and Eskilstuna with some of our largest customers. You, Us, and the Job In your role as Solution Design Engineer, you will drive the development and transformation of customer assignments within the business with a focus on efficiency, quality, customer requirements, and business viability. The role primarily works with our operations in Brunna and Eskilstuna as well as our headquarters in Solna. You will always take the overall scope of the assignment into account and ensure that the transformation work is conducted in a way that creates value throughout the entire logistics chain from import to delivery to the customer. As a Solution Design Engineer, you are also involved in analyzing and calculating new customer setups and bids, which places high demands on your ability to understand the customer's business and circumstances. What You Will Do Prepare materials for new business in collaboration with business development. Provide implementation support to the regions when launching assignments and operational improvements, with emphasis on analysis and execution. Actually as a specialist in warehouse automation, technical logistics solutions, and WMS development, and continuously evaluate new technologies, automation concepts, and solution designs for both existing and new customer assignments. Participate in developing future warehouse solutions, including automation, material handling, layout, capacity calculations, and technical concepts for new and existing customers. Conduct analysis of production processes and improvement potential with the ambition to exceed established quality and productivity targets. Work with various simulation and analysis tools to develop solutions and improvements for customer assignments. What You Bring Civil engineer with a focus on logistics or other equivalent academic education. Several years of experience in development work within warehousing and/or 3PL. Experience in designing warehouse solutions, automation concepts, or material flows. Experience in analyzing warehouse and production data. Experience with WMS, warehouse automation, and technical logistics solutions. High proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in project management such as customer implementations is a merit. Experience in CAD is a merit. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written.
