Solbacken is a specialized residential facility focusing on somatic care and dementia and has 48 beds. The elderly care facility Solbacken is located on Astrid Lindgren's Way in the eastern part of Lund.
Solbacken is situated in beautiful surroundings. There are several city buses that serve the area. The nearest bus stops are just a few minutes' walk from the facility. There is also parking available adjacent to the facility.

In your position as a nursing assistant, you work with care and services based on the residents' wishes, in accordance with care decisions, and always with great focus on quality. You work, for example, with helping with personal hygiene, preparing and serving meals, answering call bells, and providing social companionship. Social interaction is an important part of our work so that all our residents can live life, all of life. This can range from conversation, playing games, going on outings, taking a bike ride, or doing fun activities together. You also work with delegated tasks from licensed personnel in the form of medication administration and training.
Job Description
We are currently seeking nursing assistants for permanent positions with employment rates of 75-80% with a start date as soon as possible.
To be a candidate for the position, you need:
A certificate from the Swedish Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant
Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing
We also see it as advantageous if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.
To thrive in the role, you are engaged and care about your fellow humans, while being good at building good relationships and are service-oriented. With us, you work both in teams and independently, so it's important that you are comfortable in that environment.
Before we offer employment, you must provide an unopened extract from the police's criminal record register. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.
