About the job as a personal assistant As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday activities and during leisure time. Your workplace is where the client is located, and your tasks essentially involve assisting the client so they have the conditions to live the life they desire. Work Tasks Your work tasks depend on the client's needs and lifestyle. They can include everything from personal hygiene, assistance with mobility, housework, cooking, to assisting the client at work or during activities outside the home. We are looking for you who: We are now seeking personal assistants who want to work approximately 50-75% for a woman. Working hours include weekdays and weekends with both day, evening, and night shifts (active time at night). The client has a large assistant team, and it is important to find people who have a long-term interest in working as a professional personal assistant and who can grow in the role. Previous experience is not a requirement if the personal chemistry is right. You will be part of a work group with several assistants with varying employment levels. The work can consist of both single and dual assistance depending on the support needed. In her free time, the client loves living an active life, being outdoors, doing things, growing flowers in the garden, meeting friends, sunbathing on the beach, visiting exhibitions, farm shops, going to concerts, etc. The client has a cottage she loves to visit, which may also mean you as an assistant accompany her. The workplace is located in Mölnlycke and from Korsvägen in Gothenburg you are here in 25 minutes. About You As an assistant, you participate in all daily activities and help with training, stretching, and positioning. In other words, you yourself need to be in good physical condition. The assistants work much according to routines so that the client's life and body function as well as possible. It is important that you are energetic, positive, thorough, strong, reliable, and punctual. You must also have a driver's license, as you will be driving her car (automatic) during the day. If you are interested in night shifts only, a driver's license is not a requirement. At Särnmark, you will always receive introduction with the client and access to training on the role of personal assistant. The employment is for a fixed term as long as the assistance assignment lasts, and the payment form is hourly wage.
