About the job As a companion, your main task is to accompany and support our clients in various everyday situations. This could mean being a reassuring presence at a doctor's appointment, going shopping together, taking a walk, or participating in a social activity. You won't perform traditional home care tasks or healthcare duties – your focus is entirely on companionship and secure accompaniment. 📍 Location: Assignments are mostly around Kristianstad and Åhus. Sometimes further away. Our offices are at Industrigatan 2A (Kristianstad) and Tullvaktaregatan 10 (Åhus). 📆 Start: As soon as we find the right person (maybe you?) 🛎️ Position: Hourly employment / As needed. 🕒 Scope: Part-time work. You work when we receive companion assignments and when it suits you. 📋 Who we're looking for We're looking for you with a big heart, patience, and great sense of responsibility. ✅ Swedish fluency – You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. This is essential for the client to feel secure and for conversations during your outings to run smoothly. ✅ Attentive and trustworthy – You're naturally good at talking with people, adapt to each person and situation, and radiate calm energy. ✅ Reliable – Our clients depend on you showing up at the scheduled time. Security starts with punctuality. ➕ Merits – A driver's license is a big plus (to be able to drive clients when needed), but the right attitude is most important. ❌ Not a fit if you: Have difficulty keeping to schedules, feel uncertain in social situations with elderly people, or prefer working alone in front of a screen.
