Social Worker for Adult Services Unit

We are seeking a social work consultant for the adult services unit within individual and family services in a municipality in Fyrbodal, Västra Götaland. The assignment involves working as a case worker in the investigation team on a full-time basis, 40 hours per week. The assignment runs from October 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension for an additional three months. About the Assignment The unit works with public administration and services for adults from 18 years of age. The target group includes people with harmful substance use and addiction, people subjected to violence in close relationships, and other social issues. In this role, you will be responsible for, among other things: receiving applications and reports preventive assessments and investigations assessing needs and making decisions about interventions developing individual assignment descriptions following up with clients and service providers The work is largely based on evidence-based instruments – AUDIT/DUDIT, ASI, UBÅT, NODS-PERC and FREDA – and on SoL, LVM and LVU. Who We Are Looking For You hold a social work degree and have at least five years of experience in public administration within an adult services unit, substance abuse care, or violence in close relationships. You are accustomed to working independently with the entire investigation process and can begin the assignment on October 1. We warmly welcome your application.
