JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We aim to become a social service at the forefront with new legislation and transition taking place in 2025. The Unit for Individual and Family Support, formerly Open Care, is led by a unit manager together with a coordinator. Our ambition is to be a social service where we together create good conditions to meet future challenges. Barnbackens Family Center in Kramfors is a collaboration between Kramfors Municipality and Region Västernorrland and consists of the child health center, midwife clinic, open preschool, psychologist, and social services. Together, the operation works to offer activities and interventions that are important for children's and guardians' well-being. In the role of social worker with us, you will represent the social services together with our current social worker and be a consultant to other staff on psychosocial issues. You and your colleague are a direct link to social services with the goal of early and smoothly being able to refer parents and children to various support and assistance services. As a social worker, you offer supportive and advisory conversations to parents based on individual needs. You will also participate in various preventive and promotional activities such as parent groups, outreach activities, organizing theme days, and more. Your workplace is at Barnbackens Family Center but you belong together with your colleague to the Unit for Individual and Family Support. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a social worker and have good knowledge of social services activities and relevant legislation. It is meriting if you have experience working with advisory and support conversations, have knowledge of children's development and needs, and parents' need for support in the parental role. We would like you to also have experience in authority work and/or treatment activities. You should have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. We will attach great importance to your personal suitability and personal qualities such as flexibility, collaboration, and initiative ability. B driver's license is a requirement. Employment form: Permanent employment.
