Individual and Family Care (IFO) in Ystad Municipality includes the Child and Family Unit, Placement Unit, Support Unit, Employment Unit, Adult Unit, and Open Care Unit. This also includes Family Law and Family Counseling, which are run jointly with Tomelilla, Simrishamn, and Sjöbo, as well as Maria Skåne Southeast, which is run jointly with Tomelilla, Simrishamn, Sjöbo, and Region Skåne. The Field Team is part of the Open Care Unit, located in newly renovated premises in the city center. The unit is led by a unit manager. The Field Team currently has three positions, but we hope to expand, which is why we are seeking 1–2 people. The rest of the team at the Open Care Unit consists of 12 family therapists, one coordinator, and three specialists focused on adult work. The Open Care Unit is also one of three operations that jointly run Family Center Kompassen. During the fall, organizational changes will take place within IFO as a social worker with program responsibility for KSL and a family consultant are transferred to the Open Care Unit from another unit. With this change, we have consolidated all non-subsidized services to municipality residents in one unit. At the Open Care Unit, we enjoy working together and collectively take responsibility for our residents' wellbeing. We continuously work on development and quality improvement. We are now seeking a new colleague for the Field Team! We plan to hold interviews on August 31 and September 1 in the afternoon—please reserve these times! 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As part of the Field Team, you work with both general preventive and targeted preventive work for and with children and young people aged 11–18 years with the aim of: - Breaking negative trends related to substance abuse, crime, or other destructive behavior - Promoting health - Promoting good living conditions for young people The work takes place through outreach efforts in arenas where the target group spends time, as well as in collaboration with actors such as schools, Youth Center, and police. In Ystad, we have worked for many years with a parental education program called Absolut Förälder, an educational program designed to give our children a nicotine-free, alcohol-free, and drug-free teenage years. As part of the Field Team, you will be one of several Absolut Förälder educators, and this position also includes coordinating Absolut Förälder. You will receive in-house training for this assignment. Conducting Cope parental education or other education or group activities may be part of the position. If you have the competence for this, it's a plus; if not, we'll train you! Other work tasks within the Field Team include mediation activities, providing information to schools, parents, associations, and others, as well as participating in local crime prevention efforts. In Ystad, we work with a model called Backa barnet, www.backabarnet.se. As a member of the Field Team, you play an important role in this work, particularly regarding positive leisure activities for children and young people. To further develop our work with the target group, we are now seeking someone who wants to join us on our journey of change! Perhaps you have experience with field work, perhaps experience working at the individual level with this target group, or perhaps both? QUALIFICATIONS Social Worker degree or other degree and experience the employer considers equivalent Driver's license Experience with the target group Personal suitability Meritorious to have worked with parental education or group activities for children Meritorious to have MI training Meritorious to have training in and experience with the methods we use, such as rePULSE, CBT, KSL, or other relevant methods for the target group Meritorious to have worked with the Lifecare system, but not required Meritorious to have language skills other than Swedish and English, but not required Salary form: Monthly salary.
