Citizens in need of social services can receive advice, support, and assistance. In most cases, our assistance and interventions are provided following an individual assessment as part of our authority administration. We have the ambition that the interventions we provide lead to independence. The activities focus on interventions for children, youth and their parents, substance abuse problems, violence in close relationships, persons with disabilities who need support in their daily life, persons in need of financial support, labor market measures, rehabilitation, and integration. The operational area IFO Children and Family is seeking a new substitute colleague to our unit working with open interventions & HVB. In the Treatment/Intervention work group, we focus on quick intervention, change work, treatment and authority administration. Our goal is to offer children, youth and their families the best possible child care and interventions from social services. Our ambition and highest priority is to comply with applicable legal requirements in the new Social Services Act and to ensure that families who meet us receive good and service-oriented treatment. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES This position is a one-year substitute role, with the start date determined by agreement. In the Treatment/Intervention work group, employees work both as social secretaries and treatment workers/service providers. The work group consists of 10 employees, both men and women of varying ages and with varying years of experience in the profession. There is a good atmosphere in the work group with openness, humility, and a strong commitment to being there for our families with flexible solutions. The main responsibilities include authority administration, responsibility for open care interventions in families with children, placement of youth at HVB and interventions according to LSB (new law for placement of children in protected housing together with parents). Also to implement and carry out open care interventions such as family sessions and youth treatment for children, youth, their families and other networks. Based on the new Social Services Act, a transformation process is underway throughout the entire operation, which means that the focus in Treatment/Intervention will increasingly be on offering children, youth and their families support more quickly, in some cases with the possibility of support interventions without an assistance decision. All employees within the operation have access to external supervision and we offer you as a new employee an individually adapted introduction, close collegial support and operational leadership. Within Individual and Family Services, we work in close collaboration between units and work groups because it is when we work together that we achieve the best results. We are co-creators in our development work and there are good opportunities to contribute to the operation's development, especially as we now face the new Social Services Act. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a social worker or has an education that the employer considers equivalent and who meets the competency requirements for authority administration in the field of children & youth according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and general advice HSLF-FS 2017:79. Since the position includes both authority and service provider/treatment work, good knowledge and previous experience in both areas are merits. This means you have good knowledge of authority administration, BBIC, relevant legislation (preferably SoL, LVU, OSL, FL and FB), HVB placements according to SoL and LVU, ability to drive intervention work forward and provide social work together with families based on their needs and where they are. It is meriting if you have knowledge in treatment, systems theory approach, change processes, family treatment, FFT, network work and have the ability to motivate youth and families to engage in change work. You are flexible and creative in how interventions should be designed. In addition to the above, it is meriting if you have other relevant training, such as MI, parental support programs, FFT, MET, ÅP, A New Path, criminality as a lifestyle, etc. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
