Individual and Family Services in Lekeberg Municipality consists of a total of 24 employees divided among the children and family unit, adult unit including case management, and open care. The organization is led by an IFO director and three team leaders: one for the children and family unit, one for open care for both children and adults, and one for the adult unit. 1 position(s). We are now looking for a social worker for a temporary position of approximately one year, as some of our employees are on parental leave. The position involves handling cases with a main focus on financial assistance, but also includes handling of harmful use and dependency as well as violence in close relationships. In the adult unit, we work actively and closely with individuals with a focus on change, progression, and the path toward increased independence and self-sufficiency. We value a reasonable caseload, which provides good conditions for working qualitatively, actively, and closely in each individual case. As a social worker, you will investigate, assess, make decisions, and follow up on interventions, primarily according to the Social Services Act but also according to the LVM. Within individual and family services, we work from a holistic perspective where collaboration, participation, and shared responsibility for the operation are central. We are looking for someone with a genuine commitment to social work, who is solution-oriented and curious about development and change work. You enjoy working both independently and together with others and have the ability to create good relationships with both individuals and colleagues and cooperation partners. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a completed social worker degree, good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, and good computer skills. You need to have a B driving license and be able to drive a car for work purposes. We would like to see that you have experience with public authority management. It is meritorious if you have experience working with the Lifecare management system. As a person, you are committed and have a professional and respectful approach. You find it easy to create good relationships and communicate clearly with both individuals and colleagues and cooperation partners. You work independently and in a structured manner and have a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work. The work requires that you are flexible, confident in making decisions, and can adapt when circumstances change. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive processes forward in a goal-oriented manner.
