The Social Services Department is responsible for care of the elderly and people with disabilities, as well as support, counseling and other services for children, youth and adults. About the Position We are now seeking a social secretary. With us, you will work with authority and responsibility in the areas of harmful substance use, addiction issues and intimate partner violence – for both victims and perpetrators. Working as a social secretary can be challenging, so we are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and confident in their professional role and who values professional and respectful conduct. We are a small work group and therefore help each other cover for one another when needed, which requires teamwork skills and flexibility. The operation is also in an exciting development phase where you will have the opportunity to participate in organizational development and change management work to create the social services of the future. New conditions and ongoing development work may also lead to changes in the position's content. Further, it includes planning of interventions for people with harmful substance use and comorbidity, as well as investigation and support services within intimate partner violence. Qualifications We are looking for someone who Has a degree in social work Has experience with authority and responsibility in social work Is confident, professional and clear in your communication Has a genuine interest in the target group and social change work Has good teamwork skills and actively contributes to a good work environment It is a merit if you have knowledge and experience with ASI, FREDA, PATRIARK, MI or ADAD. It is also a merit if you have previously worked with comorbidity, addiction issues and crime, as well as intimate partner violence, both victims and perpetrators.
