About the Job
We are now seeking an employee for our work team and welcome you to apply to the investigation unit VINR/HRV (Violence in Close Relationships and Honor-Related Violence).
As a social secretary with us, you will have the work tasks included in the exercise of public authority, that is, to receive, investigate and assess applications for protection needs and make decisions, implement and follow up on interventions according to assignment, work plans and implementation plans. We use evidence-based methods to support our assessments, such as FREDA and PATRIARK.
The work also includes informing, motivating and strengthening the individual to take their own initiative in the change towards an independent life. We work to clarify the processes in the investigation work to identify and work with areas for improvement and to follow up on how the individual experiences our interventions. An important part of the work is collaboration with various public authorities and service providers. We have a particularly close cooperation with Children and Youth. The handling is carried out in accordance with the Social Services Act and other legislation governing public work. We apply national regulations, guidelines, procedures and the city's common goals and action plans. Process-based supervision is included.
The VINR/HRV work team consists of seven social secretaries and one senior social secretary, and is one of three work teams within the Adult 2 unit. We also work with housing with support and eviction prevention, a total of 22 employees, of which three are senior social secretaries and one unit manager. The workplace is characterized by a good collaborative climate and helpfulness towards each other, and has very low staff turnover. The unit also has an active and creative well-being group. We offer flexible working hours. Based on the needs of the operations, there is also the possibility of working from home. Our office is located in Hjällbo.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has a degree in social work (socionomexamen). You are familiar with the legislation and guidelines that govern the operations. You understand the importance of legally sound case handling and understand what it means in practice. You have experience with the exercise of public authority from social services, and it is meritorious if you have worked with the exercise of public authority directed at persons with protection needs. It is meritorious to have knowledge and application of assessment methods such as FREDA and PATRIARK. It is also meritorious if you have worked in the Treserva documentation system and have a driver's license.
As a person, you have a very good ability to cooperate and collaborate with others, as it is important for the individual to receive the right support for the right interventions at the right time. You are flexible in your thinking and actions, and you have an easy time adapting yourself and your work approach based on changed circumstances and new information. You take responsibility for both your own work and the unit's common work and are concerned that the work is completed and performed in the right way.
