1 position(s). We are now seeking a Social Secretary for the Livelihood Unit. The Livelihood Unit in Falun Municipality is organized within the Employment and Social Services Administration, under the Employment section together with the Labor Market Unit and two additional units offering work training and internship placements. The Livelihood Unit is led by a Unit Manager and an Assistant Unit Manager. The unit consists of a total of approximately 40 employees divided into four teams, each led by a Team Leader. The Livelihood Unit works to investigate the right to assistance under the Social Services Act and support citizens in becoming self-sufficient. Based on a respectful approach, the Livelihood Unit works with the goal of helping individuals achieve self-sufficiency. The unit also houses the Refugee Reception, where the work involves receiving newly arrived Falun residents who have been granted residence permits and supporting them in establishing themselves in their new hometown. The Livelihood Unit's work is based on the Employment and Social Services Administration's values. We start from the equal value of all people and respectful treatment. Residents should be able to expect quick and accessible information and advice from the very first contact. Work Tasks As a Social Secretary with us, you will offer guidance and support related to the goal of self-sufficiency based on citizens' needs. In this role, it is important to meet people with dignity, respect, and quality with requirements for documentation and legal certainty. The work involves investigating the right to financial assistance and processing applications under the Social Services Act and similarly evaluating other possible support measures. The position involves a relatively high degree of independent work with legislation, guidelines, and practice, and you need to be able to handle unforeseen situations. The work also involves documentation as well as written and verbal communication. As an employee with us, you are offered structured introduction, internal case supervision, and support. Qualifications For this role, the following are required: A degree in Social Work or another behavioral science university degree that the employer deems equivalent Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing Basic computer skills Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and commitment who wants to contribute to our operations.
