Social Worker – Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) | Falun

About the Assignment We are seeking a social worker for our client in Falun for a consulting assignment in the Intimate Partner Violence unit. The assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through September 30, 2026. The position is full-time (100%). The unit has four social workers and four counselors. As a social worker, you will meet with adults aged 18 and older who are living or have lived in violent relationships. The unit also serves individuals who have perpetrated intimate partner violence. You will work closely with the unit's counselors and collaborate extensively with other departments within social services and external partners. Your Responsibilities In this role, you will exercise authority in matters of intimate partner violence. You will share responsibility for intake together with your colleagues and work on initiating, investigating, and assessing cases. You will also: Initiate and handle cases involving intimate partner violence. Conduct investigations and assess individuals' needs for support and services. Perform risk and safety assessments. Follow up on protective placements and other decisions. Provide support to individuals living in protected circumstances. Collaborate with the Children and Family Unit, adult psychiatry, police, and other relevant stakeholders. Document and advance cases in a structured and legally sound manner. Your Qualifications Social work degree (socionom). Valid driver's license (category B).
