Then we welcome your application to the Children and Family Authority in Southwest! We are developing our organization to strengthen investigation work within Children and Family. Three units are becoming four units. Three of our units will consist of two teams with approximately six social secretaries, each led by a senior social secretary. One unit will consist of three teams with approximately six social secretaries, each led by a senior social secretary, with one of those teams focusing on Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). We are recruiting social secretaries for two of our units. As a social secretary, you work with investigating and assessing children and young people's (ages 0-18) need for support, making decisions, and following up interventions based on risk and protective factors using BBIC and in accordance with applicable legislation (Social Services Act, Care of Young Persons Act, and Care of Abused and Neglected Children Act). You keep the child's best interests in focus and work actively to involve children and families in the process. Your role is important for the children and families we meet, and we work together to succeed. The work includes collaboration both internally and externally. You will receive an introduction through a well-developed introduction program led by three specially designated social secretaries. You will have process-oriented supervision together with other colleagues in your team. We have regular times for methodology meetings and individual case reviews. We value accessible and close management. About you We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and experience with official investigative work within Children and Family services. The work includes meetings, conversations with children, young people and families, where documentation is an important part. We want you to be knowledgeable about investigation work and BBIC, as well as the laws, guidelines and procedures that form the basis for the work. To succeed in this role, you need to be stable and confident in your professional role and able to meet families in difficult situations, where you need to remain calm, balance different demands, and make well-founded decisions even under time pressure. You are responsible and thorough and ensure that investigations, documentation, and follow-ups are conducted with legal certainty, good quality, and with the child's best interests in focus. You have good and respectful conduct and can build trust when meeting children, families, networks, and collaboration partners. You are attentive, clear, and professional even in situations that are sensitive or stressful. You can work both independently and together with others based on what is required in a specific situation. You contribute to good cooperation both internally and externally. You have an unpretentious approach and work with others to create good conditions for the child and family. You also have good analytical skills and can identify the core issues in complex situations. You see connections, draw logical conclusions, and can suggest possible solutions based on the child's and family's needs. We warmly welcome your application!
