Tierp is a municipality with an organization of the right size for you who want close contact with your manager, colleagues, politicians, and clients. Here there is room for both personal development and collaboration within the organization. Our municipality offers varying residential environments, nature near the sea, history, culture, and good services. Tierp has Stockholm, Uppsala, and Gävle within commuting distance and also offers the possibility of working partly remotely. Our values are important, and together we work to realize our value words: respect, responsibility, customer focus, courage, and faith in the future. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a social secretary in the follow-up unit, you work in various ways to ensure that all children in the municipality are doing well and growing up in safe conditions. You do this, among other things, by ensuring that social services interventions are of good quality. This is done through regular follow-ups of interventions together with children, guardians, and the service provider. In your work as a follow-up officer with us, relationship-building is important, and you follow up both open care services and placements in, e.g., foster homes and group care homes, with the target group 0-21 years old and their families. Follow-up is an ongoing process that both the social welfare board and the care provider should document continuously. It provides the basis for considerations and reviews of care. The follow-up of care aims to ensure that the child is doing well and receiving the right help. The goals formulated in the child's care plan and implementation plan are important starting points when social services follow up on care. During follow-up, new needs can be identified and any problems in the home where the child is living can be noted. The work consists, in addition to follow-up, of planning, collaboration, case management and documentation, decision-making and other administrative work, and to some extent investigation. Our work climate is permissive with a high ceiling, and the atmosphere is relaxed and informal with lots of laughter. We believe that engagement is born through encouragement and trust. Therefore, we strive for a creative work environment with motivated employees who contribute to both dynamics and development. For us, collegial belonging and collegial support are important, where you work toward a respectful and pleasant work environment. We want to move forward, and personal initiatives are encouraged here. It is also important that our employees can have a good balance in life between private life and work life. We have flexible working hour agreements and the possibility of remote work is available when work allows. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a social worker and who wants to contribute to good meetings with children and young people as well as their families. Experience in administrative work, good knowledge of BBIC and Signs of Safety, thorough knowledge of the Social Services Act, and good documentation skills are merits. We place great importance on personal suitability. To thrive with us and with the work, you are curious, have an easy time building relationships, and an interest in people. You are structured and enjoy collaboration, but also have the ability to work independently. You have knowledge of children's needs, and you are passionate about contributing to good and quality work. Travel and home visits are part of the position, so you need to have a B driver's license for a manual car. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent. Working hours: Daytime. We strive for diversity where our employees' backgrounds, experiences, knowledge, and personalities enrich the municipality. We recruit continuously during the application period! We decline offers of advertising and recruitment assistance.
