As a case manager within Adult Services, you work with authority under the Social Services Act. Your main work duties include: · investigate, assess and make decisions on financial assistance · investigate, assess and make decisions in cases concerning dependency and domestic violence · investigate suitability and implement decisions on contact persons · document and follow up cases · meet with clients and cooperate with other actors internally and externally · work with legal certainty and good quality in case handling and make decisions according to applicable delegation instructions You work independently with your cases, while at the same time you have close collaboration with colleagues and other departments. Cooperation takes place with, among others, Child and Family Services, the Social Insurance Agency, the Public Employment Service and Regional activities. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: • a degree in social work or other higher education that the employer considers equivalent • experience working with financial assistance • good knowledge of authority and the social services mission Meritorious: • Driver's license (Class B) • experience working with people with dependency issues To succeed in the role, you need to: • express yourself well in speech and writing • be confident in documentation and legally secure case handling • be able to plan and advance your cases • have a professional demeanor and good cooperation skills • be committed to finding solutions together with the individual and other actors We value both experience and the willingness to develop.
