First-Line Social Service
Haninge Municipality has adapted for the future social service and has therefore established a first-line social service. Here we have gathered early and preventive advice and support services with the goal of offering municipal residents help at an early stage so serious problems are prevented. We want to be close to municipal residents and it should be easy to contact the social service. As part of consolidating first-line social services, we have a common reception for children and youth as well as adults and a fast track for investigation of 0-17 year-olds.
The Fast Track
Since October 1, 2025, Haninge Municipality has run a project that we call the fast track. In the fast track, we investigate children and young people 0-17 years old. The fast track arose because we saw a need to work more efficiently in selected cases. For an investigation to belong to the fast track, one must already at the preliminary assessment see that it is an investigation that only concerns one or a few need areas and can be completed within two months. As a social secretary in the fast track, you have fewer ongoing investigations so you can investigate more efficiently at a faster pace. The project has been very successful and we therefore choose to make this project permanent. We have seen great value in the fast track having a clear connection to the reception, as the transfer from the reception should be quick. The fast track is therefore organizationally together with the reception.
Your Assignment
As a social secretary in the Fast Track, your main task is to investigate children 0-17 years old. The investigations should be characterized by efficiency, legal certainty, and professional treatment. We expect you to work efficiently and complete the investigations within two months. For this to work, we want you to be able to express yourself clearly and simply in writing and be able to distinguish what important information to include in the investigation. As a social secretary in the fast track, you have the opportunity to manage your working hours more independently, based on what works for the operation and the people we meet.
What We're Looking for in You
We're looking for someone who is a trained social worker and who has many years of knowledge and experience with government authority work for children and youth. You need to be efficient as the first contact with the family should take place within a week and the entire investigation should be completed within two months. Furthermore, you need to be confident in your professional role as much of the work is conducted independently and without a co-case handler.
We're looking for someone who wants to develop and also contribute with your knowledge and commitment. Here you are given the conditions to, together with engaged and knowledgeable colleagues, make a good effort for Haninge's children and their parents.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work
- At least three years of experience working in social service government authority for children and youth, investigation work
- Good ability to work independently and drive your own cases
- Knowledge and experience of BBIC
- Knowledge and ability to document correctly and with legal certainty, and good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
- Knowledge and experience of Signs of Safety
Your Personal Competence
- Be trustworthy and have good collaboration skills
- Attentive and clear in your communication
- Easy at creating good relationships
- Efficient and quick in your case handling
- Good at structure and order
- You are stress-resistant and have good ability to handle acute situations.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
What We Can Offer You

The Fast Track consists of three social secretaries and is organizationally located directly under the reception unit manager. As a social secretary in the fast track, you have the opportunity to manage your working hours more independently, based on what works for the operation and the people we meet.
We're located in bright, pleasant office premises with proximity to shopping centers, restaurants, natural areas with swimming, skiing and running trails, and to Handen commuter train station. We have free access to a gym in the municipal building, smoke-free working hours, wellness allowance, flexible time agreements, compressed days, and the possibility of holiday exchange.
